  I had an awful experience at the hands of spoox motorsport.
  I spent thousands with them building an engine. The outcome was appalling, they did some engineering work for me on my cylinder head (plus various other bits which I am now worried about!) and it was of such poor quality the car developed a mis-fire. Once the head was off I discovered the full horror. The valves hadn't been lapped in correctly, the re-facing work was suspect enough to make think it hadn't been done at all plus a whole host of other problems. I had to spend a further £800 with my usual engineer to have it put right.
  One of the problems with the engine was that it sounded like it had no oil pressure at the top. After investigation it turned out that the hydraulic lifters supplied by spoox where not compatible with that engine.
  Despite not wanting to, spoox eventually supplied me replacements. The same fault occurred, spoox told me it was my fault as I must have incorrectly fitted them. I replaced them with some second hand ones which had covered over 140k. The engine is now silent. Despite being told this spoox refused to re fund me. They then refused to talk to me at all.
  I got solicitors involved but spoox refused to see sense and suggested that they would take legal action against me for defamation of character!
  After spending another few hundred quid with the solicitors a stale mate was achieved so I walked away.
  I am only now calm enough to be able to think about it without flying into a rage. It was six months ago.
  I love my car but spoox motorsport have ruined what should have been an enjoyable build.
  IF I CAN PREVENT EVEN ONE PERSON FROM USING THIS BUSINESS THEN I WILL FEEL SOME SENSE OF JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE.
  STAY AWAY FROM SPOOX MOTORSPORT IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY, CAR AND MONEY.
